Mountain incorporates authentic based rewards and consequences. The goal
is to provide students with immediate feedback on all behaviors that impact their daily lives. Every student participates
in the points and level system.
Transition
Students are transitioned back to their home schools when all members of the
IEP committee, including teachers and parents, agree that the student has met his or her goals and the change to a less restrictive
environment is appropriate.
Meals
Meals are provided by the program at no cost to the students. Cereal, milk
and juice are available for breakfast. Lunches are supplied by Culpeper
County food services. A menu is sent home via students at the beginning
of each month. Students are permitted to pack lunches if they desire. However, sodas and candy are not to be brought to school.
